.DE.DK.PL win All

The All-Star tournament at Arbalet Cup Europe has finalized as .DE.DK.PL won the Grand Final against CCCP.

It promised of a great show taking place this afternoon, when the Grand Final in the All-Star tournament should kick in. CCCP taking on .DE.DK.PL with the fans favoring the Danish, Polish and German mix. They were able to defeat the Swedish-power mix yesterday, in order to claim a spot in the Grand Final.

It was however the underdogs that started best, winning first map dust2 with 16-13. On second map inferno, .DE.DK.PL had it going for them, but not for long. CCCP turned it into a neck-and-neck affair, forcing the match to overtime. In overtime .DE.DK.PL outplayed CCCP, especially Danny "zonic" Sørensen contributed well, with some 1v2 clutch wins. .DE.DK.PL took 3-0 and 1-0 to win 19-15 overall on inferno.

Last map was picked by Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov, who won the coin-toss. .DE.DK.PL members Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and Danny "zonic" Sørensen did however try to convince Bogdanov, that he actually lost the coin-toss and that they should pick map. Joke aside and into the match they went. Starting on the T side, .DE.DK.PL went nuts and really seemed like the victory on inferno boosted their confidence level quite a bit. The team went to take a 11-4 lead, before switching to CT. As CT they won the pistol-round and following four rounds, to take a 16-4 win and 2-1 overall to win the All-Star tournament at Arbalet Cup Europe.

With the victory .DE.DK.PL score $3,000 while CCCP picks up $2,000. Third and fourth place finishers INFERNO-ONLINE and KSU will only collect the fun they had, as no prizes are given to them.
